Texas Primary Results - Dist 138

 

Over 20% of District 138 registered voters voted in the Democratic Primary versus only 11.5% in the Republican Primary.District 138 is one of just two seats in Harris County where the primary turnout was over 20% for Democrats in a Republican-held seat!Of the 12,300 votes cast for state representative in District 138, Virginia received 58% of those votes, or 1,892 more than the Republican incumbent! Virginia even received more votes in a down-ballot race than the total number of Dist. 138 Republican Primary Voters.Not only did Virginia win her home precinct on the East end of the District where she expects to be strong, she carried Bohac’s home precinct in Spring Branch, receiving even more votes than he received in his home precinct in the 11/06 General Election!
